High-Performance Underwater Sensors
Imaging Sonars
The ISS360 range features the world’s most compact imaging sonar, providing an ideal navigation, obstacle avoidance and target identification solution for ROVs, AUVs and underwater vehicles of any size. Utilizing a broadband composite transducer and advanced CHIRP acoustics (Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse), these sonars offer exceptional 360-degree imaging clarity, and can be operated at any frequency from 600 to 900kHz.
The ISS360 provides depth rating options of 4000 or 6000 meters, while the ISS360HD is rated to 6000 meters and also provides enhanced angular resolution and range. Both variants can be equipped with an optional pitch and roll measurement capability based on MEMS inertial sensors.

Altimeters
The ISA500 range of advanced altimeters utilizes cutting-edge acoustics to provide exceptionally long-range measurement at distances of over 120 meters, with an accuracy of 1 mm. The sensors can also be optionally upgraded with our Echogram technology, adding full backscatter visualization for single-beam echosounder capabilities with up to 2000 samples per ping. In addition, an integrated MEMS-based AHRS (Attitude & Heading Reference System) can be added for heading, pitch and roll measurement.
The ISA500 is available in either forward-looking or right-angled configurations, ensuring easy integration into a wide variety of underwater vehicles or towed platforms. It can be provided with acetal or rugged titanium housings, with depth options of 1000, 6000 and 11,000 meters.

Depth Sensors
The ISD4000 is a survey-grade depth and temperature sensor that integrates a temperature-compensated piezo-resistive pressure sensor and a high-accuracy and low-latency RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) probe. Depth data can be provided to ±0.01% or 0.005% full scale accuracy, with multiple options available for range. Temperature data can be provided to 0.1 or 0.05 degrees C accuracy.
The unit can also be fitted with a MEMS-based AHRS (Attitude & Heading Reference System) for heading, pitch and roll measurement. Heading data is highly resilient to temporary magnetic interference, thanks to a built-in soft and hard iron calibration feature.

Attitude & Heading Reference System
The ISM3D is an advanced high-accuracy AHRS for underwater vehicles and platforms, combining MEMS-based accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers with a powerful sensor fusion processing system. The unit delivers robust heading data with accuracy to ±1° of local magnetic north, and pitch and roll data to ±0.07° accuracy. In environments with large amounts of ferrous metals or other magnetic disturbances, the magnetometers can be deactivated, and heading accuracy can be boosted thanks to a built-in soft and hard iron calibration feature.
The underwater AHRS can be provided in an acetal housing depth-rated to 1000 meters, a rugged 6000 meter-rated titanium housing, or as an OEM system.

Flooded Member Detection System
Our ISFMD flooded member detection system is based entirely on reliable high-accuracy ultrasonic technology, making it easy to deploy via ROV or diver with none of the logistical and safety issues posed by radiation-based solutions. Based around our ISA500 ultrasonic sensor probe, the system automatically adjusts acoustic settings, ensuring that both small and large members can be tested accurately and repeatedly. An optional depth sensor can be integrated to automatically record the depth of each check point.
The system is available with a 100 or 200 meter cable reel, and includes a topside box that enables easy plug-and-play connection for all components. Configuration, data reading and visualization, and automatic reporting are all provided by our powerful seaView software.
