By leveraging broadband CHIRP technology across 600–900 kHz, the system achieves exceptional range resolution down to 2.5 mm, delivering near-photographic clarity for detailed inspection, manipulation tasks, and precision navigation. The proprietary IS³ (Impact Subsea Signalling Scheme) employs advanced phase modulation and coding to ensure signal integrity, accurate timing, and interference-free operation, even in multi-sonar deployments.
Designed for durability, the sonar features a solid titanium housing rated to 6,000 meters and uses inductive coupling to eliminate slip rings, removing a common point of mechanical failure. High-speed Ethernet communications provide update rates up to six times faster than conventional serial systems, enabling real-time obstacle avoidance and vehicle control.
