Unity from Impact Subsea is a topside control system designed to provide centralized management of communications, power, and data handling for subsea sensor deployments. The system combines a computer running seaView software, Ethernet and serial communication interfaces, and sensor power supply capabilities within a compact 1U high 19-inch rack-mountable enclosure.

Developed for remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and other underwater applications requiring multiple sensors, Unity provides flexible connectivity through Ethernet, RS232, and RS485 communications. When combined with seaMux, the system enables sensor data collection and exchange with third-party systems, while allowing serial or Ethernet data from external equipment to be transferred through the subsea link to the surface. Four communication ports with software-controlled 24VDC power outputs allow connected sensors to be powered and managed directly from the unit.
