The ISA200 from Impact Subsea delivers an advanced solution for subsea altitude and echosounding in challenging oceanographic environments. Designed around a high-performance 200kHz acoustic engine, the unit provides millimeter-level accuracy over distances up to 250 meters.
A conical beam with a 15.2° angle ensures consistent returns across varying seabed types, while optional ECHOGRAM functionality transforms the altimeter into a full single-beam sonar system, offering up to 2,000 samples per ping for comprehensive backscatter imaging.
With an integrated MEMS-based Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS), the ISA200 measures pitch, roll, and magnetic heading with exceptional precision, compensating for vehicle motion in real time.
Available in titanium or acetal housings and supporting both forward-looking and right-angled configurations, the ISA200 is engineered for seamless deployment on ROVs, AUVs, or static platforms. Applications range from scour and touchdown monitoring to hydrographic survey, wave height measurement, and equipment deployment under ice or at depth—up to 6000 meters.
