The ISS360 range of compact imaging sonars provides ideal navigation, obstacle avoidance and target identification solutions for ROVs, AUVs and underwater vehicles of any size. Utilizing a broadband composite transducer and advanced CHIRP acoustics (Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse), these sonars offer exceptional 360-degree imaging clarity, and can be operated at any frequency from 600 to 900kHz.
The system's mechanically scanned transducer utilises inductive coupling to the sonar electronics and thus does away with the need for slip rings, enhancing longevity and reducing maintenance requirements.
The ISS360 provides depth rating options of 4000 or 6000 meters, while the ISS360 is rated to 6000 meters and also provides enhanced angular resolution and range. Both variants can be equipped with an optional pitch and roll measurement capability based on MEMS inertial sensors.
