Impact Subsea, a developer of underwater sensing technologies for the marine industry, has been presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
The accolade, one of the highest a UK business can receive, was presented by the Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron. The King’s Award for Enterprise program, formerly known as the Queen’s Award, recognizes outstanding achievement across four categories: innovation, international trade, sustainable development, and social mobility.
Impact Subsea was among 116 organizations acknowledged for contributions to International Trade in 2024, across 197 total organizations recognized with a King’s Award.
This latest royal recognition follows the company’s 2021 Queen’s Award for Innovation. The firm has seen a decade of rapid expansion, growing from a small Scottish start-up to a global subsea technology provider.

The award highlights Impact Subsea’s continued commitment to excellence, global growth, and supporting the UK subsea industry on the world stage. It reflects not only the company’s success but also the dedication, passion, and hard work of its entire team.
