Impact Subsea, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance subsea sensor systems, has been awarded the 2025 King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
The King’s Award, among the UK’s most prestigious business honours, recognises outstanding achievements in international growth, innovation, and contribution to the UK’s export economy. Impact Subsea’s award specifically acknowledges its global commercial success and growing reputation as a key technology provider in the ocean science and marine industries.
Formerly known as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the King’s Award is presented annually by His Majesty The King. Only 197 UK organisations were selected in 2025, with 116 of those recognised in the International Trade category. Impact Subsea previously received the Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2021.
The company’s portfolio includes precision-engineered sonar systems, altimeters, depth and temperature sensors, and AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference Systems), along with a market-leading Flooded Member Detection System.
Designed for accuracy, reliability, and ease of integration, Impact Subsea’s compact solutions help scientists and researchers collect critical data in challenging subsea environments.
Ben Grant, Managing Director of Impact Subsea, commented, “Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade is an incredible honour and a testament to the hard work, dedication and innovation of the entire Impact Subsea team.
It’s a proud moment for us, recognising our commitment to excellence and our success in expanding our reach in the global, subsea technology sector. This award inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the world stage.”
