The NORBIT WINGHEAD X is a customizable multibeam sonar delivering ultra-high resolution. Its curved array echosounder and modular architecture support mission specific configurations and seamless integration on USVs, survey vessels, and large hull mounts.

Features include active roll, pitch, and yaw stabilization, an integrated field replaceable sound velocity probe, multidetect capability, and full bathymetry and backscatter outputs.

Designed for bathymetric surveys, the WINGHEAD X ensures accurate results in dynamic environments while offering seamless installation and deployment across a range of platforms.

NORBIT WBMS X

Configurable multibeam sonar system for high-resolution bathymetric mapping

The NORBIT WBMS X is a curved array multibeam sonar system that can be tailored to suit a range of high-resolution bathymetric survey requirements. Built with versatility in mind, it can be provided with a number of GNSS-aided INS options, including Applanix and SBG Systems.

The highly adaptable system excels even in challenging and dynamic environments with significant vessel motion, and features active roll, pitch, and yaw stabilization.

NORBIT FLS (forward-looking sonar) solutions offer high-performance and high-resolution acoustic imaging capabilities for a variety of mission-critical applications such as search and recovery, obstacle avoidance, and security.

NORBIT NORdredge

Turnkey sonar solutions for dredging & construction

NORdredge is a specialized turnkey solution that utilizes a broadband multibeam sonar system and intuitive software to provide real-time information for dredging, underwater construction, and rock dumping operations. The vessel-mounted sonar can be rapidly mobilized even under demanding conditions, ensuring continuous monitoring of the water bottom and timely detection of any hazards or issues.

Hydrographers can plan the mission remotely via a web-based interface, and all relevant information is automatically passed to the local operator’s mobile device who can then execute the survey. The hydrographer can independently access the data, and any adjustments to the survey plan can be made easily.
