Awarion® is an AI-powered situational awareness solution that provides autonomous lookout and timely warning of a variety of hazards and obstacles in accordance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations. Utilizing AI-powered analysis of electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) video streams, it complements human lookouts and marine radar systems, picking up events that they cannot see.
Awarion can be provided as a standalone software solution that integrates with existing onboard cameras, or as an integrated package bundled with specialized smart EO/IR cameras. Awarion EO/IR cameras are equipped with an optional 360-degree gimbal mount, and fixed cameras can be networked together to provide a constant 360-degree operating picture. Data can be sent to the bridge over standard Ethernet connections or via satellite communications to remote command centers.
Awarion has been rigorously tested under a range of challenging real-world conditions, and has achieved the following performance metrics at ranges of up to 3km:
