Videosoft Global is supporting the deployment of real-time video streaming technology across Kuwait Oil Tanker Company’s (KOTC) fleet, enhancing operational visibility and safety at sea.

Operating tankers that transport crude oil, refined products, and liquefied petroleum gas, KOTC has an increasing focus on health, safety, and operational visibility. With fewer crew onboard, the company required a solution capable of delivering real-time situational awareness from ship to shore.

The Videosoft platform was chosen by KOTC for its ultra-low bandwidth streaming, standards-based deployment without the need for specialist hardware, and its capability to deliver high-quality video across constrained maritime networks. This technology securely transmits multiple onboard camera feeds to the Fleet Performance Monitoring Center onshore, giving teams real-time insight into vessel operations.

By combining live video provided by Videosoft Global with fleet performance management tools, KOTC’s onshore operations teams gain immediate visual insight into vessel activity, supporting faster decision-making, improved safety oversight, and greater operational awareness across the fleet.

Mark Sykes, Sales Manager, EMEA at Videosoft Global, commented, “We are delighted to support Kuwait Oil Tanker Company in deploying real-time video streaming across their fleet. With operational safety and situational awareness more important than ever, KOTC needed a solution that could deliver high-quality, secure video over constrained maritime networks without requiring specialist hardware.

Being selected after extensive market testing demonstrates KOTC’s confidence in Videosoft’s technology, our reliability, and our ability to support mission-critical operations at scale.

The KOTC team added, “With fewer crew onboard and an increasing focus on health, safety, and operational oversight, having immediate visual insight from each vessel allows our onshore teams to make faster, more informed decisions.

Deploying Videosoft’s real-time video streaming across our fleet gives us high-quality video even over low-bandwidth networks, ensuring we maintain operational awareness and safety across all vessels without compromise.

The project was completed in collaboration with Zener Marine Services LLC, who partnered with both Videosoft Global and KOTC to support the deployment of the solution.
