The 2422H is a specialized three-axis accelerometer module designed for applications with limited power supply availability or where steady +5V DC excitation may be preferred. Based on three orthogonally-mounted SDI industrial-grade surface mount MEMS accelerometer chips, the sensor provides low noise and excellent long-term stability, and is ideal for a variety of offshore and marine applications including seismic monitoring, tilt and vibration compensation, and robotics.
The hermetically-sealed IP67-rated accelerometer features a wide operating temperature range of -55 to +125°C, making it ideal for marine and maritime applications experiencing large fluctuations or prolonged extremes of temperature. It is housed in a rugged titanium casing with an easily detachable connector that allows for custom cable lengths. Each unit is individually tested, calibrated and verified in a climate chamber before shipping, and a full calibration report is provided.
