Pro-Oceanus Systems provides CO₂, CH₄, and TDG sensors for wastewater treatment monitoring, offering a submersible, rugged, and reliable solution that can be integrated into both new and existing treatment facilities to help optimize treatment conditions. Read more >>
Wastewater treatment is recognized as a significant source of greenhouse gas emissions, including CO₂ and CH₄ released into the atmosphere. Elevated CO₂ levels in wastewater resulting from high organic matter loading can lower pH and reduce the efficiency of aerobic and anaerobic remineralization processes. High nutrient concentrations that contribute to algal blooms may also affect the breakdown of organic matter and the efficiency of wastewater treatment.
Maintaining balanced pH conditions, reducing anaerobic decomposition, and monitoring CO₂ and CH₄ emissions are key elements in supporting effective wastewater treatment and helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Mini-Series Dissolved Gas Sensors
Pro-Oceanus Systems’ Mini-Series sensors are available for CO₂, CH₄, and TDGP measurements. The compact, lightweight sensors are designed to provide long-term, reliable dissolved gas measurements.
The Mini-Series is designed for use in water, oil, or water and oil mixtures, supporting a wide range of gas measurement needs in wastewater treatment and related applications.
