DTG3 Remotely Operated Vehicle
The DTG3 is a rapidly-deployable ROV with a rugged machined anodized aluminum body, designed to undertake inspections and surveys under harsh environmental conditions. Equipped with three precision thrusters and a patented pitch system, it features automatic stabilization and can rotate 180 degrees to perform lateral movements.
The vehicle is equipped with a full HD camera (upgradeable to 4K) on a 270-degree rotating platform, providing a wide range of view for maximum situational awareness. It can also be fitted with a range of other add-ons to enhance functionality, including:
- Grabber: enables retrieval of objects, holding of tools, and deployment of equipment.
- Laser Scalers: provide size estimation during visual inspections.
- USBL Positioning: provides information on the relative position of the ROV.
- Thickness Gauge: evaluates the thickness of steel on tanks and hulls.
The complete ROV kit can fit into a single Pelican case, and includes the advanced BRIDGE integrated controller, a 75m tether, and a tether reel.
