Water Current Meters

In the field of marine science, water current meters provide essential data for the studying of ocean circulation patterns, tidal currents, and the transport of heat, nutrients, and pollutants in marine environments. Water current meters use electromagnetic, mechanical, or acoustic technology to measure the speed and direction of water currents, and are typically deployed on research vessels, moorings, and underwater platforms.
