Boxfish Robotics, a developer of underwater robotics technology, will participate in the upcoming Ocean Action Forum 2025, from October 27-28, in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The company will present its autonomous platforms, the Boxfish AUV and ARV-i, which are designed for applications including coral reef monitoring, benthic survey, and photogrammetry.
These systems deliver high-resolution, sub-millimeter geo-referenced imaging and enable continuous monitoring in marine environments, supporting both research and operational needs.
The Ocean Action Forum itself is a regional platform that aims to advance marine sustainability and innovation, bringing together experts and decision-makers to explore practical solutions for ocean health and resilience, in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The forum will focus on addressing key challenges and opportunities in marine conservation and sustainable ocean industries, with collaboration between stakeholders from government, academia, and industry.
Areas of focus include marine ecosystem restoration, such as coral reefs, mangroves, and seagrass, sustainable fishing and aquaculture, pollution reduction and waste management, and climate resilience and adaptation.
The role of ocean technologies, including robotics, AI, and satellite monitoring, will also be covered, as well as the blue economy development through strategic partnerships and innovation.
Boxfish Robotics looks forward to meeting customers and partners to discuss inspection needs across marine infrastructure and habitats, digital twin applications for environmental modeling and asset tracking, and regional collaboration opportunities with organizations focused on conservation, innovation, and sustainable development.
