This video from ALSEAMAR, a developer of innovative systems for ocean science exploration, showcases its efficient SEAEXPLORER underwater gliders for oceanographic monitoring.
ALSEAMAR’s series of autonomous underwater gliders are used for collecting underwater data from depths of up to 1,250 meters. The gliders surface periodically, transmitting their collected data and GPS position for cost-effective remote monitoring.
These gliders can remain at sea for extended periods, with the vehicle gliding silently through the water to collect a range of data.
SEAEXPLORER has a modular design allowing it to be adapted for specific study requirements and configured with different sensors and payloads.
