ALSEAMAR’s Rapid Environmental Assessment (REA) services deliver essential oceanographic data to support underwater operations. These capabilities include bioluminescence assessment, which captures in-situ measurements to reduce detection risks, and light penetration assessment, which analyzes wavelength attenuation to determine how deep underwater assets remain undetectable.
Water current monitoring provides real-time current profiles to improve underwater asset maneuverability, while sonar propagation assessment records sound velocity throughout the water column to enhance acoustic modeling accuracy.
Available payload options include CTD sensors for measuring conductivity, temperature, depth, and sound celerity; bioluminescence sensors for detecting ratiometric marine emissions; light sensors for monitoring photoactive radiation (PAR); and ADCP units for capturing in-situ ambient noise spectra. An additional 20 sensor options are available to customize data collection for specific operational needs.
