Kraken Robotics Inc. has finalized approximately $28 million in contracts to supply SeaPower batteries and Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) systems to five international clients.
The new agreements include battery contracts from an SAS order from a new manufacturer of commercial uncrewed underwater vehicles (UUVs), as well as from three major international defense firms. These latest deals expand the reach of the company’s technology, which is currently integrated into more than 30 different UUV platform types across the globe.

Specializing in subsea intelligence, Kraken Robotics provides 3D imaging sensors, power solutions, and robotic systems designed for marine environments. The company’s synthetic aperture sonar, sub-bottom imaging, and LiDAR systems provide high-resolution data for ocean safety, infrastructure, and geological assessments. Additionally, its pressure-tolerant batteries provide high energy density power for UUVs and subsea energy storage applications.
With headquarters in Canada and a presence in North America, South America, and Europe, the firm supports a client base spanning more than 30 countries.
