Kraken Robotics’ SeaPower rechargeable batteries offer market-leading energy density and endurance, and are designed as a modular and scalable capability that can be customized to meet the needs of a variety of platforms.
The advanced batteries use pressure-tolerant Li-ion pouch cells embedded in a silicon polymer matrix, eliminating the need for housings or oil compensation. Multiple batteries can be connected together to form power banks of up to 5 MW, and the Kraken Fast Charger allows up to nine batteries to be recharged in parallel, vastly reducing mission downtime.
Rated to depths of down to 10,000m, SeaPower batteries are expertly engineered and tested for maximum safety and reliability at cell, battery, and system levels, and are compliant with U.S. Navy and maritime safety and transportation standards.
