SubCtech has successfully completed and shipped a new 1 MWh Battery Storage System (BSS) along with its accompanying DCU (Charging Unit) to a customer.
The integrated setup, which underwent final inspection and testing, is designed to provide safe and efficient energy storage and conversion. It utilizes a modular design to allow for flexible configuration, scalability, and a compact footprint, making it suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.
The system features a nominal energy capacity of 1 MWh and incorporates high-performance Li-ion battery modules with an integrated Battery Management System (BMS).
The DCU is engineered to enable fast charging and controlled power flow, complete with full monitoring and safety features. Remote diagnostics and a smart control interface are also provided for system monitoring.
SubCtech states that this system is built for sustainable, high-density energy storage, targeting demanding industrial and offshore environments. The company’s service engineers are scheduled to commission the units on site, ensuring seamless integration into the customer’s existing infrastructure. The team’s expertise and commitment were highlighted as key factors in completing the project in a short timeframe.
