SubCtech's compact Microplastic Sampler can be installed on a wide variety of vessels to detect minute concentrations of different microplastics down to a few particles per m³. The system features high-efficiency ocean sampling even at high cruising speeds of up to 30 knots, and is provided with three filters - 30, 100 and 300 µm as standard, with other sizes available upon request.
The system is designed for operation with minimal operator intervention, and can be operated standalone or integrated into SubCtech's FerryBox-style OceanPack monitoring system. An external GNSS receiver can be connected for accurate position and time stamping, and all data is logged to an internal SD card and can also be output in real time via NMEA 0183.
