Oceanbotics has introduced the SRV-8C as the most compact Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in its current lineup.
Standing just over 15 inches tall, the Oceanbotics system is engineered to provide professional-grade underwater inspection in a highly portable format. The vehicle, tether, and necessary accessories are designed to fit into a single rolling case, which facilitates rapid mobilization and reduces the logistical complexity typically associated with inspection-class ROV systems.
The SRV-8C introduces a new price point for the series, intended to make critical underwater tasks more attainable for a wider range of operators. Despite its reduced size, the system remains capable of performing complex tasks such as object identification, inspection, and retrieval, all while maintaining an industry-leading battery life of up to four hours.
This model completes the SRV-8 Series, joining the existing SRV-8 and SRV-8X to offer a suite of solutions tailored to diverse mission requirements. To ensure operational efficiency, accessories are fully interchangeable across the entire series, allowing users to leverage their existing equipment while utilizing the same intuitive software across all platforms.
The design specifically addresses the needs of industries where portability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness are essential. By providing a robust, all-in-one solution, the SRV-8C functions as a practical tool for the inspection-class market where performance and deployment speed are critical factors.
