Underwater robotics manufacturer Oceanbotics and its parent company, RJE International, have officially moved their global headquarters to an upgraded 20,000-square-foot facility in Irvine, California.
Located at 9805 Research Drive, down the road from their previous site, the new facility more than doubles the company’s production capacity and features an open floor plan designed for rapid scaling and continuous expansion. The expanded footprint brings the entire team under one roof in a modernized space, aiming to streamline manufacturing pipelines and enhance collaborative efforts. Oceanbotics manufactures remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) designed for complex subsea missions, while RJE International supplies mission-critical underwater positioning, navigation, and relocation equipment across military, commercial, and scientific sectors globally.
Situated a 15-minute drive from the Pacific Ocean, the headquarters location optimizes both companies’ ability to conduct live ocean demonstrations and hands-on customer training sessions.
Founder and CEO, Robert Jechart, said, “We love our new facility; the space allows us to keep up with our significant growth and infrastructure. It has also improved our teams’ morale and spirit in the process.”
The transition positions both brands for strong operational momentum heading into 2027 as they expand their marine technology manufacturing capabilities.
