Airmar Technology Corporation has released a new line of NMEA 2000 approved cables and connectors designed to provide professional-grade durability for modern marine networks.

The new product range features metal connectors constructed from zinc alloy and gold-plated pins, which are engineered to maintain secure electrical connections within harsh marine operating environments. By utilizing established manufacturing expertise and economies of scale, the company aims to provide premium construction quality at a competitive price point compared to existing NMEA 2000 cabling solutions.
The product lineup is manufactured in the United States and includes all essential components for building, expanding, or servicing a network backbone. Available hardware includes drop cables, tee connectors, terminators, power tees, and field-attachable connectors. All components are fully NMEA 2000 approved and compatible with any compliant network.
Jennifer Matsis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Airmar Technology Corporation, commented, “As onboard electronics systems continue to grow in size and complexity, the marine industry needs cabling that can be trusted for long-term performance. This new offering reflects Airmar’s commitment to reliable, standards-compliant products, robust materials, and value-based pricing, supported by technical expertise.”
Airmar, a specialist in ultrasonic transducers and CHIRP sonar technology, is supporting the new line through its global distribution network. Technical support for dealers and installers is provided by Gemeco Marine Electronics Specialists in the Americas, Airmar EMEA in Europe, and Airmar ANZ in Australia and New Zealand.
