ROV Control
Our PowerDNA Cube Ethernet-based DAQ interface, combined with National Instruments’ LabVIEW software, provided the University of Connecticut’s NURTEC ( Northeast Underwater Research, Technology and Education Center) with a compact, rugged and flexible control solution for their Kraken 2 ROV. US Navy LCAC 
The US Navy turned to UEI for a dependable COTS solution that could host a Control, Alarm and Monitoring System (CAMS) for the upgraded fleet of 75 Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) amphibious vehicles. Our rugged UEIPAC 1200-MIL 12-slot I/O chassis met all the criteria – running the hardened VxWorks operating system, supporting redundant Ethernet, and meeting MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards. Subsea Chemical Injection
Our UEIPAC embedded logging and control hardware was selected by Hydroacoustics, Inc to provide the core of a DAQ and control system for an innovative oil and gas subsea chemical injection system known as SCIU (Subsea Chemical Injection Unit). The system needed to receive a variety of data from digital, analog, CAN bus, and serial interfaces, and to command pumps to inject extremely precise volumes of chemicals, all while being able to withstand harsh offshore conditions.
