The DNR-MIL-4 from UEI leverages the proven RACKtangle® architecture in a compact, ultra-rugged form factor built to thrive in extreme maritime and defense deployments. Featuring four modular I/O slots and robust MIL-STD-38999 connectors, this military-grade I/O chassis delivers field-proven versatility while meeting stringent MIL-STD-461, -810, and -1275 compliance.
The system integrates seamlessly with over 90 DNR-series I/O modules, supporting high-density configurations across shipboard systems and mobile marine platforms. Internally, the DNR-MIL-4 maintains identical electrical design to standard DNR-series systems but introduces specialized hold-up and power protection circuitry to meet demanding military standards.
Offered with SoloX ARM processors, as well as optional PowerPC and Zynq UltraScale CPUs, the system’s IP66-sealed aluminum enclosure, fanless thermal design, and vibration/shock resistance (5g/100g) ensure reliable operation in wet, corrosive, or high-impact marine settings. Software compatibility spans Windows, Linux, VxWorks, QNX, and more, with native support for UEIPAC, MODBUS, SIM, and OPC-UA protocols.
