SBG Systems, a leading provider of ITAR-free, MEMS-based inertial sensors and navigation systems, has opened a new subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan.
Led by Kyoki Shimomura, a seasoned expert in navigation technology, the local team will provide enhanced support, technical expertise, and improved customer service to Japanese clients.
With this move, the company is aiming to foster closer partnerships with industry leaders in robotics, automotive, aerospace, and maritime sectors.
The Tokyo office will serve as a critical hub for sales, technical support, and customer engagement. It will provide expert assistance and advanced inertial solutions, along with a complete suite of post-processing software to help unlock the full potential of customer’s inertial sensor.
SBG Systems CEO, Thibault Bonnevie, says the new office positions the company to collaborate closely with Japanese partners and better address regional challenges through innovation.
“With this new subsidiary, we aim to strengthen our partnerships, provide faster response times, and offer tailored solutions to our customers in Japan,” said Bonnevie.
