Robosys Automation has launched its new VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™ software autopilot at the Autonomous Ship Expo in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT removes the limitations of traditional hardware autopilots, which only manage steering and course, by integrating with propulsion for speed control for single and double inboard engines, and single, double, triple, and quad outboards.
Developed by Robosys Automation, VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT is an intelligent and affordable autopilot software solution, providing effective station keeping and dynamic positioning for small boats operating with both traditional engines and e-propulsion systems.
Whether integrated into a newbuild or retrofit craft, VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT delivers a fully functioning autopilot solution with smart features including Speed Control, Heading Hold, Active Loiter, Course Hold. Options include Vector Thrusting, Joystick Control, Remote Helm and Virtual Anchor. The autopilot can also be upgraded to include a Charting Application (Chart Plotter) that enables Waypoint Tracking, Route Following, GeoFencing, Obstacle Avoidance, Collision Avoidance, and Track Control; to deliver a vessel operating with full Autonomous Navigation utilising Robosys’ VOYAGER AI award-winning advanced autonomy suite.
