Robosys Automation’s advanced maritime autonomy suite, Voyager AI Survey, has been integrated onboard the newly commissioned USS Accession vessel from Uncrewed Survey Solutions (USS).
Voyager AI Survey enhances the USS Accession with autonomous navigation and remote control, autonomous collision and obstacle avoidance, as well as an anti-grounding feature.
Specifically designed for the marine survey sector, Voyager AI Survey offers heading and track control, route planning, and waypoint following with existing sensor integration. If required, an optional upgrade to the Voyager AI system can deliver scalable options for full autonomous navigation.
The USS Accession is designed to provide a simpler, safer, more robust, and cost-effective surveying solution. The 6.5-meter unmanned surface vessel (USV) is suited to both inshore and offshore operations, combining the company’s sonar technologies with its surveying expertise.
The USS Accession is capable of integration with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for combined autonomous operations at sea and in the air, and features optional payloads for mobile laser scanning, sound velocity profiling (SVP), geophysical sensor towing, and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) deployment.
The USV has been delivered to its new customer, who stated, “I would like to thank you for your support thus far and to your team for their efforts. The customer support in getting this product delivered is exemplary.”
