Xsens Sirius Dual-Antenna is a rugged RTK GNSS/INS that integrates two GNSS antennas with inertial sensing to provide accurate position, orientation, and true north-referenced heading for marine platforms. Its heading solution does not depend on magnetic measurements or platform movement, enabling reliable heading determination while stationary. The system delivers roll and pitch accuracy of 0.2° RMS, while heading accuracy ranges from 0.2° with a 0.5 m antenna baseline to 0.05° with a 2 m baseline. RTK-aided positioning achieves 0.6 cm + 1 ppm CEP accuracy.
Built into an IP68-rated aluminum enclosure, Sirius Dual-Antenna is designed for vessels, USVs, and other marine systems exposed to demanding operating conditions. Real-time heave output supports motion measurement across extended wave periods, with performance of less than 5% for periods up to 29 seconds and less than 6% for periods up to 40 seconds. By combining inertial measurements, dual-antenna heading, RTK positioning, and heave data within one module, the system provides navigation and motion information without requiring magnetic heading references.
