Towed Synthetic Aperture Sonar Surveys
We offer complete towed SAS survey packages using our KATFISH towfish platform, delivering higher quality data with unmatched seafloor resolution and wider swaths and faster speeds than towed sidescan sonar.
The system is IHO special order compliant, and allows additional geophysical sensors to be integrated alongside the SAS.
All results are interpreted by Kraken sonar experts, ensuring accurate seabed classification and target discrimination as well as faster identification of risks. Our surveys are ideal for a wide variety of use cases, including:
- Pre- and Post-Construction Survey – comprehensive site clearance and identification of cable and infrastructure exposures
- Underwater Infrastructure Inspection – seabed change detection, context along pipeline and cable routes, and small target identification
