Sounder S500
Cerulean Sonar's Sounder S500 single-beam echosounder has been designed for integration into small ROVs, AUVs and ASVs, featuring separate transducer and control electronics for minimal external profile and enhanced installation flexibility. It is ideal for bathymetry as well as altimeter and obstacle avoidance applications.
The system utilizes CHIRP technology to provide excellent range resolution, and can measure distances of over 100 meters. It can report simple measurements or provide the full signal profile for display as a “waterfall” plot.
