Overwatch Imaging’s PT-8 smart sensor has been selected for integration with the M-200 unmanned aerial system (UAS) by Evolved Aerospace.
Forming a high-performance solution for maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), the combined system delivers extended endurance, onboard automation, and real-time data analysis for wide-area search missions.
The first two units are expected to be deployed with the Royal Thai Navy as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen autonomous maritime domain awareness across the region.
The PT-8 is a day/night payload combining high-definition electro-optical (EO) and longwave infrared (HD LWIR) sensors with onboard automation software and real-time AI analytics. It provides superior and passive maritime search and situational awareness by automating image capture, wide area search, object detection and precision target location, all at the edge, in real-time, to deliver immediate insights, even in low-bandwidth environments.
The M-200 UAS is a modular, long-range platform designed for mission flexibility and endurance. With a flight range of up to 1,400 km, a ceiling of 6,000 meters, and mission durations exceeding 12 hours, it supports a wide array of payloads including EO/IR, radar, LRF, and select munitions. The system is optimized for arctic, high-altitude, and maritime operations.

“Every element of the M-200 is designed with purpose — to offer exceptional range, adaptability, and minimal operator burden,” said Mikael Taveniku, CEO of Evolved Aerospace. “Bringing the PT-8 onboard builds on that foundation, extending the system’s capabilities in real-time detection and situational awareness. It’s a step forward in delivering intelligent, mission-ready tools that work reliably where they’re needed most.”
“Integrating our autonomous sensor technology with Evolve’s highly capable M-200 platform creates a powerful solution for maritime intelligence missions,” commented Greg Davis, Founder and CEO of Overwatch Imaging. “This combination enables real-time decision support for operators who require timely, actionable intelligence in complex and dynamic environments.”
