Purpose-built for scientific and commercial oceanography, the system combines closed field conductivity sensing with a flow-through design, eliminating the need for a pump while ensuring precise, noise-free data collection.
Optimized for flexibility, the CTD profiler operates with an exceptionally low power draw of just 4 mA and supports sample rates from 2 to 30 Hz. It features integrated memory and battery power for standalone deployments, with live data available via RS-232 or USB-C connections. Versions are available in aluminum for operations down to 3,000 meters and titanium for missions reaching depths of 10,500 meters.
In a recent mission, a customized unit continuously profiled to 1,000 meters, transmitting live data via Iridium. The system arrived fully calibrated and was seamlessly integrated into an existing profiler setup.
