The GYPRO®4300 is a single-axis closed-loop digital MEMS gyroscope that is an ideal alternative to costlier and bulkier FOG (fiber optic gyro) and DTG (dynamically tuned gyro) systems. Housed in a miniature and lightweight hermetically-sealed ceramic SMD package, it is available in three resonant frequency configurations, allowing designers to minimize mechanical cross-coupling when creating multi-axis systems.
The versatile device provides a 24-bit SPI interface for easy integration into electronic designs, and features built-in temperature compensation for precise output under the entire temperature range. The unit's self-test capability enables verification of sensor operation without needing to remove it from the system.
With excellent bias stability and vibration rejection, the GYPRO®4300 is highly suited for stabilization and attitude control of marine vessels and platforms, as well as integration into IMUs and GNSS-aided inertial systems.
