The TrackIt USBL System is an underwater positioning system developed for locating and tracking subsea assets in marine operations. Designed for use with autonomous and remotely operated platforms, it combines topside processing software, an accessible graphical interface, and field-proven acoustic electronics to support reliable underwater positioning and communications. The system is particularly well suited to shallow-water vehicle tracking while remaining deployable across a broad range of offshore and scientific missions.
Supporting operation from vessels of opportunity, including RHIBs, the TrackIt USBL System offers multi-beacon capability for monitoring numerous uniquely identified targets and can function as a USBL system, an acoustic modem, or both at the same time. Available transponders support internal or external power configurations as well as serial interfaces for wireless data transfer. With long operating ranges, precise positioning performance, rugged construction, and compatibility with beacons, transponders, and modems of varying depth ratings, the platform is intended for demanding marine environments where dependable subsea tracking is required.
