TOGS

TOGS from Teledyne TSS is a subsea navigation system designed to provide accurate heading, attitude, and motion reference data for remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and other underwater platforms. Built on Teledyne TSS fiber optic gyro (FOG) technology, TOGS delivers dependable navigation performance with fast alignment, low power consumption, and flexible configuration options for demanding subsea applications. Available in multiple accuracy variants and depth-rated titanium housings, the system is designed to support OEM integration and operational requirements across a range of marine environments.

TOGS is available in three standard heading accuracy models: 0.1° (TOGS1), 0.3° (TOGS3), and 0.5° (TOGS5), with options for 4,000 m and 6,000 m operating depths. The system provides heading, roll, pitch, and heave measurements, with attitude accuracy of 0.01° for TOGS1 and 0.05° for TOGS3 and TOGS5 models. Designed for efficient deployment, TOGS reaches operational alignment within approximately 10 minutes of switch-on, helping reduce preparation time and maximize operational availability.

The system features a common Teledyne TSS embedded browser interface for straightforward setup and configuration, along with AHRS-to-INS upgrade capability for applications requiring inertial positioning. With a range of outputs and installation options, TOGS provides a versatile subsea navigation solution for ROV manufacturers, operators, and underwater survey applications.
