The 2470 is a high-performance three-axis accelerometer module based on three orthogonally-mounted SDI industrial-grade surface mount MEMS accelerometer chips. With a wide operating temperature range of -55 to +125°C, the plug-and-play device is ideal for offshore and marine applications that are expected to experience large or rapid temperature fluctuations, or prolonged periods of extreme temperatures.
The rugged sensor is packaged in a traditional 1-inch square anodized aluminium housing with an integrated cable and an 8-wire connection for easy integration. Each unit is individually tested, calibrated and verified in a climate chamber in order to ensure the highest possible accuracy over a range of rapidly varying temperatures, and a full calibration report is provided.
