Ellipse Micro AHRS

The Ellipse Micro AHRS is a sub-miniature, high-performance attitude and heading reference system designed to deliver exceptional orientation and heave data in a remarkably small, lightweight, and affordable package.

Built around an advanced MEMS IMU, it integrates three high-end MEMS accelerometers and three industrial-grade MEMS gyroscopes operating at 10 kHz, enhanced with advanced filtering, sculling and coning integrals, and robust FIR filtering to ensure precise measurements even under intense vibrations.

Calibrated across a wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), this ultra-compact sensor offers outstanding robustness, making it ideal for challenging marine, airborne, and land applications where space, weight, and cost are critical. Delivering real-time heave precision down to 5 cm, the Ellipse Micro AHRS supports external GNSS and odometer connections via CAN protocol and offers preconfigured motion profiles for air, land, and sea operations.

The systems’ ultra-low power consumption (3 W) and rugged design (<2000 g shock resistance) make it a top choice for USV navigation, instrumented buoys, ROV operations, UAVs, gimbal cameras, and self-driving vehicles — providing reliable, high-frequency orientation and motion data to elevate your project’s performance.
