The Mini CO₂ instrument employs infrared detection to measure the partial pressure of CO₂ dissolved in liquids. Compact, lightweight, and plug-and-play, the Mini CO₂ submersible sensor is easy to deploy. It also measures total dissolved gas pressure (TDGP), a valuable parameter for various applications and essential for precise data correction.
The sensor is available with a variety of measurement range options, and can be customized by Pro-Oceanus to suit specific requirements. It offers analog or digital data output options, and the digital version includes a built-in data logger and controller with 2GB of flash memory for storage.
The Mini CO2 can be deployed as an autonomous standalone unit or integrated into platforms such as ocean gliders and AUVs, and is ideal for a wide range of applications including coastal zone CO2 flux measurement, carbon budget studies, wastewater greenhouse gas emissions, groundwater and wellwater monitoring, and bioreactors.
