The Model 513 CTD adopts a cylindrical architecture with integrated electronics, delivering consistent measurement of conductivity, temperature, salinity, density, and depth. A bottom-entry bulkhead connector provides a clean, serviceable interface for subsea integration, making it well suited to platforms requiring repeat connection and disconnection. The two-part mechanical design incorporates an adaptable shroud, with the standard configuration sized for a 7.5-inch diameter hull, allowing straightforward alignment with different vehicle geometries.
Depth measurement is provided via an integrated pressure sensor, with selectable ranges depending on connector configuration. A choice of bulkhead connector types, including SubConn and MKS options, supports compatibility across a range of systems. Calibration is available for standard (0 to 40°C) or extended (-5 to 60°C) temperature ranges, with conductivity measurement up to 60 mS/cm, supporting deployment across varied marine environments.
