The Model 504 CTD uses a rectangular housing with integrated electronics to deliver stable measurement of conductivity, temperature, salinity, density, and depth. A rear-entry, permanently attached potted cable pigtail provides a sealed connection while allowing the unit to be mounted flush on flat surfaces. This layout is well suited to ROV and ASV installations where clean mounting and cable routing are important.
An integrated pressure sensor provides depth measurement, with selectable ranges depending on configuration. Cable options include SubConn variants, with standard and extended potted cable lengths available. The sensor is calibrated for standard (0 to 40°C) or extended (-5 to 60°C) temperature ranges, with conductivity measurement up to 60 mS/cm, supporting operation across a wide range of marine environments.
