OmniCom Global
OmniCom Global is a cost-effective ship-to-shore communications solution that combines global Iridium satellite and 3G cellular connectivity. Providing high reliability and least-cost routing, it is ideal for commercial fleet operations and provides a wide range of functionality including real-time vessel tracking, two-way messaging, asset/document management and over-the-air updates.
The system includes an IP67-rated unit that houses the Iridium transceiver, GNSS receiver, cellular modem and electronic interfaces, and a junction box designed for the wheelhouse providing I/O for external devices as well as power.
