The Iridium Extreme PTT satellite phone combines market-leading ruggedization with a compact footprint and a rich feature set that includes location awareness and a fully integrated SOS button for emergency situations, as well as enhanced SMS and email messaging. The device also includes global PTT capabilities and configurable talkgroups.
The lightweight and tough unit has been designed with water-jet, shock and dust resistance to MIL-STD-810F and IP65 standards, and includes an integrated speakerphone, internally stowed antenna, and mini-USB data port.
