Greensea’s IQNS is the latest evolution of the company’s inertial navigation and guidance solutions, building upon the trusted GS4 system widely adopted across the subsea industry. Upgraded with NVIDIA’s edge processing platform, a fiber optic gyroscope for heading stability, advanced AHRS, and an integrated pressure sensor, the IQNS provides precise navigation and reliable control in challenging marine environments. Developed on the OPENSEA software framework, it serves as a full GNCC (guidance, navigation, command, and control) solution optimized for small autonomous and remotely operated vehicles (ROV).
By moving processing power onto the vehicle itself, the IQNS enables stable performance over low-bandwidth or degraded communication links, while also supporting contingency behaviors and enhanced safety measures. The system is capable of running onboard AI/ML tasks such as automatic target recognition, obstacle avoidance, and target tracking, while remaining scalable for increased autonomy and advanced payload integration. Supporting Greensea IQ’s EOD Workspace and EOD Edge software, the IQNS is designed as a building block for the next generation of autonomous subsea operations.
