GeoSpectrum’s C-BASS transducers are very low frequency (VLF) electrodynamic projectors that can be deployed individually or in arrays to produce high-power sources with or without directivity. They are ideal for a variety of applications including active sonar acoustic surveillance, acoustic targets, calibration sources, underwater communications and navigation, and acoustic mimicry of anthropogenic noise such as from wind platforms or construction.
In addition to the off-the-shelf options, C-BASS transducers can be customized to suit particular requirements. They can be provided as standalone units or as part of a complete solution that may also include VLF amplifiers, pressure compensation, signal controllers, tow bodies, deployment cables, and winch systems.
