The SeineVue wireless acoustic monitoring system is designed to ensure maximum efficiency and optimized operation for purse seine fisheries, utilizing omnidirectional sensors mounted on the foot of the seine that transmit depth, rate of descent, and temperature information. This data is received by a vessel-mounted omnidirectional hydrophone and graphed on an intuitive real-time GUI, allowing timely pursing of the net for optimal catch yields.
Up to four sensors can be mounted, and data is reported every three seconds. Depth reporting range can be configured for 200, 500 or 1000 meters. The rugged receiver features a water-resistant enclosure with PoE, and can broadcast data to multiple displays via wired or wireless connections.
