Guardian AUV

Guardian is an extra-large AUV platform that can be powered by Li-ion battery or hydrogen fuel cell. It is capable of remaining underwater for up to 45 days at a time, covering up to 5000 line kilometres of survey in a single sortie.

With a maximum of 5000 litres of internal payload capacity divided into one or two bays, and the ability to fit custom skids, it can be equipped with a wide range of payloads and sensors and can be enhanced with the addition of various third-party autonomy packages tailored to mission-specific requirements.

Applications for the Guardian XLAUV include:

  • Anti-submarine warfare
  • Long-duration loitering
  • Deployment of sensor nodes, seafloor listening stations & smaller UUVs
  • Surface ISR via retractable sensor mast
