Acoustic Positioning Beacons
Applied Acoustics’ rugged positioning beacons provide highly stable signals and are designed to be compatible with almost all industry-standard tracking systems. Optimized to provide a balance between power, battery life and physical characteristics, the beacons allow users to easily select transmit and receive frequencies, and include advanced features such as integrated MiQ data telemetry and multi-fire common interrogate capabilities.
The product range includes different options for shallow-water, deep-water and seabed applications. Most models in the range can be configured to operate as either a transponder, responder or pinger.
