The AML-1 is a modular and versatile underwater data probe that can be fitted with any single sensor from the X2Change family, allowing it to be configured for a wide variety of applications. It is ideal for deployment on UUVs and USVs, and is often used with a sound velocity sensor for beam steering in multibeam sonar applications.
Offering real-time data streaming via serial RS-232 or RS-485, it features a robust titanium housing that allows it to operate at depths of down to 6000 meters.
